6th GYEITI Report for Year 2022

COVERING NOTE TO 6TH GYEITI REPORT FOR YEAR 2022

The 6th Report of the Guyana Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (GYEITI) has been finalized and approved by the Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG). Once approved by the MSG, the Report is available to be distributed by any interested party. The Report is traditionally first published on the GYEITI website and will no doubt appear there in the near future.

The Report is being posted on the Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) website for the benefit primarily of the civic organizations and individuals who have an interest in the extractive sector have and interacted with the GYEITI Reporting process over the years. Those organizations have signalled an interest in promoting and disseminating the new Report more purposefully than has been the case in the past.

PFG is the organization charged with selecting and servicing the civic component of the MSG and is responsible for producing the report.

A procedure for renewing the MSG-Civic team is scheduled for early 2025, following  the promotion and dissemination activities referred to above.

The current membership of GYEITI comprises the following persons: Vanda Radzik (Reg 4) Kerry-Anne Cort-Kansinally (Reg 4), Denise de Souza (Reg 4),  Mike McCormack (Reg 4), Gieraj Singh (Reg 4), Beverley Clenkian (Reg.5), Michael Williams (Reg 9), Loretta Fiedtkou. (Reg 10).

Any queries for further information can be channelled through the Co-Chair of MSG-Civic, Vanda Radzik at Vanda Radzik <[email protected]>
