The only way forward, if we are going to improve the quality of the environment, is to get everybody involved

Who Are we?

Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) is a non-governmental organisation with no political affiliation, it focuses primarily on accountability and transparency issues related to natural resources, climate change and extractive industries. The first PFG action was to strengthen Guyana’s Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (iNDCs) to COP21 aimed at reducing global warming. Action on the second priority is taking the form of promoting greater accountability in the extractive sector, particularly through Guyana’ membership of the global movement the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI).

The Forum welcomes all non-governmental agencies and groups to join the PFG. Rules of membership which you’ll see are quite straight-forward and not demanding. At present, the PFG operates with a small Steering Committee, a Chair and Convenor.

If your organizations have an interest in being affiliated to the PFG, just click on the button below and fill out the form.
